By joshua ODO-APE SHUTDOWN AS BUNU YOUTHS UNANIMOUSLY ENDORSE PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU AND DISTINGUISHED SENATOR SUNDAY STEVE KARIMI FOR SECOND TERM
It was a carnival-like atmosphere in Odo-Ape, Bunu District of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, as youths of Bunu land trooped out en masse to shut down the community in solidarity and total endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and Distinguished Senator Sunday Steve Karimi.
The gathering which witnessed a mammoth crowd of vibrant youths, women and elders from across all communities in Bunu, was a clear testament to the acceptance and love the people have for the Renewed Hope administration and the effective representation of Senator Karimi.
Speaking at the event, the youth leaders declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown capacity, courage and genuine love for Kogi State and Nigeria at large, and therefore deserves a second term to consolidate on his laudable reforms.
In the same vein, they passed a vote of confidence and unanimously endorsed Distinguished Senator Sunday Steve Karimi for a second term in the Senate, describing him as the best Senator Kogi West has ever produced. They cited his unprecedented infrastructural interventions, scholarship programs, empowerment, employment facilitation, and his vocal representation at the Red Chamber.
According to one of the youth leaders, “Senator Karimi is not just a Senator, he is a father, a pillar and a blessing to Bunu land. From roads to water, from empowerment to education, we have felt him more than any Senator in history. We have no other candidate. It is Karimi till 2031.”
The youths vowed to deliver massively for the APC from polling unit to ward level in the coming elections, noting that Bunu land has always been for APC and will remain so.
The event ended with solidarity songs and chants of “Tinubu 4+4, Karimi Again and Again”.
