Oba Dr Fredrick Durojaiye Balogun, MSC JP, the Olu Apata of Apata (Ipatun) Oworo has praised the General Manager, Kogi State Community and Social Development, Chief Dauda Momoh for his outstanding repositioning of the agency in meeting with the yearning and aspirations of the people.
This is as the Traditional Ruler of Apata Community, Oba Dr Fredrck Durojaiye Balogun, MSC JP, the Olu Apata of Apata (Ipatun) Oworo, described Gov. Yahaya Bello as a blessing and God sent to Akpata Community.
The Olu Apata made the disclosure at the official flag off of the construction of a Science labouratory and Hand Pump Boreholes in Apata Community, described the General Manager as a man held in high esteem by the Community.
Oba Fredrick described the General Manager as a man who keeps his words, appreciated Gov. Yahaya Bello for funding the KGCSDA, a feat that is helping to empower communities with projects.
The Traditional Ruler described Gov. Bello as the best Governor the State has ever had since creation of the state, described the him as rescuer who has rescued Apata Community.
While disclosing that Apata Community is a Community with intrinsic historic background, lamented how it has been neglected over the years since creation of the State, described Gov. Bello as an Angel to Apata Community sent by God to rescue the Community.
The Traditional Ruler thanked Gov. Bello for building of Schools amongst several projects in the Community, described the flag off of the Science labouratory and Hand Pump Borehole as a dream come true for Apata Community.
The Traditional Ruler on behalf of Apata Ipatun Oworo Community expressed
optimism about the completion of the project in real time, wished Gov. Bello and the General Manager CSDA well in every of their aspiration.
Performing the flag off, Chief Dauda Momoh said the Cost of building the Science Labouratory is put at the cost of over N13m while the hand pump borehole rehabilitation is to cost over N1m.
While handing over the cheques to the community, the General Manager, KGCSDA, said the total cost of the Community Development Project is put at N14,976M, assured of more projects if the present projects are completed on time and to specifications.
