NVMA To Honour Gov. Ododo for Livestock Development.
The Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA) has conferred the award of “Icon of Livestock Development in Nigeria” on Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State.
The award recognizes Governor Ododo’s outstanding contributions to the development of livestock in Nigeria and his efforts to promote public health through effective veterinary services, particularly in Kogi State.
In a letter informing the Governor of the award, NVMA President, Dr. Moses B. Arokoyo, stated that the association has closely followed his strides and believes his leadership has made a significant impact on the livestock sector.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on February 13, 2026, at the Banquet Hall of Government House in Lokoja, Kogi State.
