NURTW Kogi LGA Honours Engr. Bashir Gegu As Best Commissioner In History of Kogi Local Government, Promise To Drum More Support For Gov. Ododo’s Second Term Come 2027.
The Kogi state Commissioner, Ministry of solid minerals and natural resources Chief Abubakar Bashir Gegu received Executives of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Koton karfe, Gegu Beki and Girinya Branch at his residence.
According to the spokespersons, Alh. Dauda Aliyu, said their visit was to Honour the people’s commissioner as the best Commissioner in history of kogi local government and to appreciate him for his relentless efforts in supporting the Union in kogi local government positively.
Alh. Dauda Aliyu pointed out the numerous achievements of the Union under the leadership of Chief Engr Abubakar Bashir Gegu as Commissioner.
He said the Union will continue to support the APC lead administration Under the leadership of Alh Ahmed Usman ododo Executive governor of kogi state, also Unanimously agreed to support the ODODO SEASON 2 PROJECT come 2027 Inshallah Allah.
Responding, the pioneer Commissioner Ministry of solid minerals and natural resources Chief Engr Abubakar Bashir Gegu thanked the N.U.R.T.W for the recognition, further commended the Union for being supportive in the APC lead government.
According to him, the award will spur him to do more for the good people of kogi local government and beyond.
He further promised to keep supporting the National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW in his own capacity, promised to serve as a confidant on the Union anytime any day.
