
NUEE Chairman Kogi State Sends Condolence Message To Gov. Ododo Over His Father’s Death.

The Kogi State Chapter Chairman, National Union of Local Government Employees (NUEE), Comr. Monday Adukwu has sent a Condolence Message To Gov. Ododo Over His Father’s Death.
In a Condolence Message copied Newsmen in Lokoja, August 19, 2025, addressed to His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo,
Executive Governor,
Kogi State, says NUEE mourn the death of the patriarch, described the loss as one too many.
According to the statement which read: “Permit me to on behalf of the Kogi State Chapter, National Union of Electricity Employees, use this medium to express the sincere condolences of the Council to you, Your Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, the Ododo Family, the government and people of Kogi State over the passing of your dear father; Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo, on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the age of 83.
Your Excellency, it is painful that the cold hands of death snatched the Patriarch of the Ododo Family at a time when his wise counsel, prayers, support, and inspiration are needed by you in your determination towards ensuring the growth and development of Kogi state.
Though sad that Papa has gone to the great beyond, one is pleased that he lived a life of purpose, and service to God and humanity. From the various testimonials, he positively impacted on the lives of many people, and was a source of inspiration to numerous others within and without Kogi state.
Your Excellency, NUEE Kogi State Chapter identifies with you on this moment of grief. We admonish you, and the entire Ododo Family to, as mere mortals submit to the tenets of Almighty who gives and takes when He wills.
Finally, we pray that Almighty will forgive his shortcomings, repose his soul, and grant him eternal rest, Amen.
