Honourable Jimoh Otori OTAN has applauded the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for successfully getting the approval of NUC to establish the Confluence State University of Science and Technology. The applause was made on the heels of the approval granted Kogi State government by the NUC to establish the university at Osara.
Honourable OTAN who could not conceal his elation over the approval thanked the Governor for the remarkable and landmark feat.
He also praised the Governor for his unalloyed commitment to the project, in spite of the shenanigans of those opposed to it based on selfish and myopic reasons.
According to Honourable OTAN, the Governor has shown that he prioritises the development of the state for the betterment of Kogites and Nigerians irrespective of religious and ethnic affiliations.
Speaking further, Honourable OTAN reeled out the benefits Kogites and Nigerians in general stand to get as soon as the university becomes operational.
Apart from opening the rustic settlement of Osara to the world as people from different parts of the world will be going to work and study at the university, the people of the host community and its environs will benefit tremendously from the economic activities the university will unlatch.
Honourable OTAN further stated that the university will provide jobs for the teeming youth especially of Kogi extraction and thus, substantially addressing the twin problems of unemployment and criminality.
Honourable OTAN, against the background of the benefits derivable from the establishment of the the university, enjoined Kogites to continue to pray for the success of the Governor and his government.
According to him, the Governor has written his name in the sand of time and the verdict of posterity will be fair to him.
Honourable OTAN used the opportunity to appeal to those directly involved in the execution of the project to expedite actions so that the university can take off without delay.
Honourable OTAN also congratulated the entire Anebira and Kogites on the approval of the university and further advised them to support the university.
