No Place for Blackmail and Scavengers In Kogi PDP— PDP Advocates
…Says External forces and serial blackmailers behind media attacks and rhetorics
August 12, 2024
The audacity of the PDP frontiers is staggering coming from individuals who have consistently demonstrated a blatant disregard for party processes and the will of the people.
Their criticism of Senator Danjuma La’ah’s leadership is a thinly veiled attempt to deflect attention from their own complicity in perpetuating illegality and undermining the party’s democratic norms.
We are not unaware of the antics of a federal lawmaker who is notoriously known for her penchant for blackmail and external forces sponsoring to create the current wave of attack on the CTC and PDP in Kogi state to undermine the party.
Over the years, PDP Frontiers, as a group, has always been known to be of unstable and questionable characters who are always lurking around to grab the next pay job for blackmail for their one survival.
Their so-called ‘optimism’ about the party’s future is nothing but a veiled threat, predicated on their selfish interests being protected.
The claim of “optimism” about the party’s future is yet another attempt at blackmailing those who mean well for the party.
The optimism on their part ended when these hatchet men, scavengers and their sponsors worked openly against the party to chase a futile agenda.
We will not be swayed by their empty rhetorics. The NWC’s resolve to uphold the party’s constitution and resist the selfish agenda of power-hungry individuals will only strengthen our party and ensure victory.
The CTC will not be lectured by those who have actively worked to undermine our party’s progress. Their shameful attempts to circumvent due process and promote illegality will not be tolerated.
To this end, Kogi State PDP Advocates wish to state in very clear terms that the majority of PDP members stand in camaraderie with the CTC and the will of the people.
