NNPP remains Only Alternative As APC, PDP Have Failed, Finished Nigerians – Alh. Abdullahi Ahmodu Angulu


 

The Kogi State Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Alh. Abdullahi Ahmodu Angulu, has described the Party as one that is set to form a new Nigeria where the people would be a priority in governance.

 

The NNPP Chairman made the disclosure shortly after he was elected at the Kogi State Congress of the NNPP, described the state as worst under the All Progressives Congress, than it was under the Peoples Democratic Party.

 

The Chairman maintained that the APC and PDP have together finished, failed the country and the state in particular, assured that the NNPP will end poverty, underdevelopment and payment of percentage salaries in the State.

While noting that he and other members who left the APC have no regrets, said with the berth of NNPP, it would no longer be business as usual.

 

He thanked the members of the Party for finding him worthy to serve, promised to justify the confidence reposed on him.

Similarly, speaking at the Congress a leader of the Party, and former APC Governorship Aspirant, Abdullahi Mohammed aka Elephant said the NNPP would offer Nigerians a new alternative, lamented that the plight of the Kogi people calls for a sober reflection.

He maintained that he and others who were in the APC before apologize for the pain inflicted on the people, described NNPP as the third force that would rescue Nigeria from lack, poverty and underdevelopment.

In his remarks, Sen. Abdul Rahman Abubakar, described NNPP as a party that would spring surprises in 2023 across the country, charged the newly elected executives to be diligent and resourceful in moving the Party to its desired dreams and aspirations.

Speaking after the election of the State officers, Hon. Abdulmalik Suleiman, the Party’s electoral officers, expressed satisfaction with the free, fair and peaceful congress, described the NNPP as the party to watch as it will field candidates for all the elective polls in 2023.

The NNPP state congress held at the Kewon Hotel Lokoja, was witnessed by the Independent National Electoral Commission, led by Alh Sadiq Zakariyao Saka.

Others who emerged at the congress as State officials are Abdullahi Otaru Ogidi, Vice Chairman; Suleiman Abubakar – Secretary; Solomon Joseph – Youth Leader; Lami Dan Musa – Woman Leader; Aliyu Zuberu – Treasurer; Mohammed Murtala – Auditor.

The son of late for Senator, Chief Obasaju Kehinde Olarewaju emerged as the Kogi West Zonal Chairman.
