The New Nigeria Peoples Party, (NNPP) Presidential Candidate in the forthcoming general elections, Rabiu Musa Kwakwaso has vowed to end security challenges and restore the dignity of educational, health, and agricultural sectors among others if voted into power for the overall interest and development of the Country.
The party’s Presidential Candidate stated this during South East campaign rally held in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi state capital.
Kwakwaso represented at the event by his running mate Bishop Isaac Idahosa who lamented on the high spate of killings in the Country especially South East zone, noted that his Government would not fold its arms and watch the citizens being killed unnecessarily, saying that the Country present situation demands a credible and God fearing leader like him to tackle the problem.
The Presidential candidate stressed the need for Nigerians to elect him as he remains the candidate who would liberate the Country from quagmire while decrying the untold hardship occasioned by the change of naira notes and fuel hike, adding that APC Government in the Country, as well as, PDP have failed woefully and called on average Nigerians who are of voting age to vote massively to the party to restore the Country’s lost glory.
He, however, expressed his preparedness to offer scholarship to Nigerian’s students from kindergarten to university levels and also prioritize on health sector towards improving the health status of the citizens, assuring to boost food sufficiency through embarking into aggressive agricultural activities and creation of job opportunities among youths.
According to him: ” This Country is faced with serious quagmire, affliction but God has sent me to come and deliver the Country by fighting poverty, hunger, insecurity and bring back peace, freedom, prosperity. Suffering is at the verge to an end. Our party is light and we are ready to pursue darkness out of this Country. We will bring a quality education from kindergarten to the University levels” he said
While soliciting for the vote of the people, Kwakwanso assured that he would carry everybody along in his government including traditional and religious leaders irrespective of ethnic groups and empower both men and women at the grassroots.
In their remarks, the Deputy National Vice Chairman of the party John Ifemeje, the V/C South East Zone Prince Onu, the National Women leader Dr. Mirian Yasin described the party’s Presidential candidate as a very competent and detribalized Nigerian who has the interest of the people at heart, and as such he remains the only person that would stop the current economic meltdown facing the Country and urged them to vote massively to the party so as to win landslide in their various States.
Prophet Adol-Awam flags NNPP Guber flag
Earlier, the party’s Governorship Candidate in Ebonyi State, Prophet Adol Awam, Enugu State Guber Candidate Hon. Cajethan Eze and their counterpart of Abia State Hon. Ukpai Iro Ukpai expressed their readiness to deliver the party’s Presidential and National Assembly Candidates come 25th February elections in their various States.
Adol Awam said the massive turnout of people at the rally was a clear indications that that party would defeat other political parties in the State.
He promised to prioritize on the welfare of Ebonyi people if voted into power.
