The Ambassador of South Korea, Ambassador Kim Youngchae has described the Nigeria Korea Friendship Institute of Vocational and Advance Technology Lokoja.
as the best in Nigeria.
The South Korean Ambassador made the statement during his visit to NKFI, Lokoja, lauded Gov. Yahaya Bello’s educational development strides in the state.
He stated that NKFI Lokoja is the best in Nigeria, said that he has visited many schools in Nigeria pointing out that the Korea Government is very comfortable in its partnership with Kogi State Government.
He said the visit will open new Chapter in fostering the relationship between Nigeria and South Korea.
The NKFI Institute came into existence via partnership between Kogi State Government and South Korean Government Via Korea International Cooperation Agency(KOICA)
The Ambassador of South Korea was accompanied on the visit by the Deputy Ambassador of Italy and his wife. Also in the entourage of the Ambassador were, Chief Nike Davis-Okundaye, KOIKA Country Director, Mr Son Sungail, Korean Cultural Center Manager, Mr. Bae Sung Jin among others
The Korean Delegation were received by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr.(Mrs) Folashade Arike Ayoade and the Honorable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon Wemi Jones, FCIB.
The Education Commissioner on behalf of the state Government assured of a worthy partnership, promised the continued commitment of the Kogi State Government.
