Nigerians Have Already Taken Their Decision on 2027 General Elections – Dr. Kwankwaso

The National Leader of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) and Supreme Leader of the Kwankwasiyya Political Movement worldwide, Engr. Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has declared that Nigerians have already made up their minds ahead of the 2027 general elections, particularly the presidential race.
Dr. Kwankwaso, who was the NNPP’s presidential candidate in 2023 and a former Governor of Kano State, made this known at the party’s 19th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the Bolingo Hotel, Abuja.
According to him, the alarming rate of insecurity across all regions of the country, coupled with poor government policies that have deepened poverty among citizens, has accelerated the resolve of Nigerians long before the 2027 elections.
“The people have already taken their decision,” he said, noting that the widespread discontent reflects the determination of citizens to assert their role in electing a president who will govern Nigeria beyond 2027.
The Kwankwasiyya leader, while charging members of the NNPP to remain loyal and steadfast, reiterated his unwavering commitment to providing progressive leadership that would place the party on the right path ahead of the elections.
He further disclosed that an international body had recently adjudged the NNPP as the best political party in Nigeria—a recognition that, according to him, explains the surge in new membership registrations witnessed by the party in recent times.
