Nigerian Youth Congress confers award of lifetime Ambassador on CMD FTHL, Dr. Olatunde Olatunji.
Nigerian Youth Congress, North Central stakeholders forum have conferred an award of lifetime Ambassador on the Chief Medical Director Federal Teaching Hospital Lokoja, Dr. Olatunde Olatunji Alabi.
Speaking on the aim of the award, Chairman North Central stakeholders forum, Comrade Alfa Ebune said the award was in recognition of his great impact on public health and leadership in Nigeria.
He stated that Doctor Alabi’s extensive experience in public health service has set the standard for excellence, describing him as a passionate advocate for home grown Talent and development.
Comrade Ebune noted that the Nigerian Youth Congress is proud to have membership span across the thirty six states of Nigeria with the goal to chanel it’s energy towards meaningful contribution to our democracy using modern communication tools.
The Chairman said NYC hope to establish a digitized resource centre in Lokoja to support tech start-ups and enhance corporate social investments as well as plan for a special public lecture titled Africa Quest for Development; Policing the cyber space for maximum benefits in March this year at Kogi State University Kabba and a five day Youth Summit focusing on Social entrepreneurship and youth involvement in governance in River State coinciding with the 2025 international Youth Day.
Responding, the Chief Medical Director Federal Teaching Hospital Lokoja, Doctor Olatunde Alabi expressed gratitude to the NYC north central stakeholders for the award noting that it will spur him to do more.
He urged the congress to channel it’s request for assistance through the appropriate channel and promised to do his part.
