Mike Abu, Editor and Publisher of Nigerian Post Newspaper (Online and Hard Copy) has bagged the Overall Journalists of the Year award.
The award was presented on Tuesday by the Advocacy for Youths Leadership in Governance in Lokoja, was described as a shining example of what a Journalists should be.
According to the group, “This is based on your immense contributions and engagement of the youths and overall development of the society.
“Equally, as peace and youths ambassador in the state”.
The Overall Award was selected from Best Print and onlines Articles categories from the state.
Speaking after the Awards, Mike said: ‘‘I am proud to note that our work is being noticed. This is a demonstration that our efforts to encourage best reporting practices is bearing fruits.
“My appreciation goes to the entire panel for sparing time to read, assess and evaluate our works. And congratulations to the winners and all the 2020 edition in other categories.”
The Rector of the State Polytechnic, LOKOJA, Mr. Ogbo Salisu and the State Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Bashiru Gegu were amongst the award recipients.
