Niger State Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Hon. Haliru Zakari Jikantoro has presented Hon. Umar Mohammed Bago and Comrade Yakubu Garba as Governorship and Deputy candidates to Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) for the 2023 general elections.
Hon. Haliru Jikantoro in a statement issued by the state party’s Publicity Secretary, Musa Sarkinkaji and made available to Journalists in Minna the Niger state capital,noted that the party made wider consultation with the critical stakeholders to arrive at candidates.
The party chairman Hon.Haliru Jikantoro described the decision as a Good one.
He mentioned that the decision to pick Comrade Yakubu Garba decision was in line with the track-records within the confines of state civil service.
The Chairman called on Nigerlites to accord the party and candidates maximum acceptability and support in order to succeed in the coming general election 2023
