New Year: Hajiya Rekiya Greets Kogites, Assures Business Community of Improved Support


 

Hajiya Rekiya Onaivo Sanni, MD/CEO of Kogi Enterprise Development Agency (KEDA) has greeted the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for being an MSME friendly governor this past year. In a new year message made available to newsmen, Hajjia Rakya
assured the governor of improved support for the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in in 2023.

 

Hajiya Rekiya disclosed that as an agency, a significant effort was put into enhancing the capabilities of MSMEs through training, workshop, technical support and business opportunities that were provided in the past year, part of which were the MSME Workshop that trained over 500 entrepreneurs, Orange Sweet Fleshed Potato (OFSP) training and empowerment programme, KG-CARES implementation among other technical support that were given to entrepreneurs in the state.

The KEDA boss urged entrepreneurs to stay hopeful and resilient as the agency will ensure more businesses in the state receive support to enhance their productivity, equipped to fulfil their potentials and to leverage emerging global opportunities.

She wished the business community a joyful celebration and a peaceful and productive year ahead.
