NEW DAWN FOR DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE, ACCORDS AWARD OF PHILANTHROPY TO HON. ABBA ISA.

In its unflinching and unwavering Commitments and determination to encourage Philanthropy and humanitarian Service in Nigeria without regards to religious and tribal Consideration,the New Dawn for Development Initiative, a Non- Governmental Organization Committed to Humanitarian Service has accorded the Senior Special Assistance to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Muhammed Abba Isa with “Award of Philanthropy”.

 


The Award was Presented to Hon. Abba at his federal Secretariat Office, Central Bussiness District, Garki Abuja, Friday April 6,2024, those in attendance were the Management team of the New Dawn for Development Initiative, under the leadership of Dr. Mrs Christiana Titilayo Onyia, Some religious leaders, individuals from the disability Community and Staff in the Office of the Senior Special Assistance.

In a brief Speech delivered by the National President of the New Dawn for Development Initiative,Dr.Mrs Christiana Titilayo Onyia, Shortly before the Presentation of the Award, She noted that the decision to honour Hon. Muhammed Abba, was informed by the Organization’s recognition of the numerous Philanthropic and humanitarian Services performed by Hon. Abba to many persons with Special Needs irrespective of their religious and ethnic backgrounds, his Continues, and persistent demostration of Sympathy to the disability Community and most importantly,his Selflessness, humility and respect to both the high and low in the Society.

She further pointed out that, as a Non- Governmental Organization Committed to Providing Socour to the Vulnerable in the Society, they felt there was need to Compliment, and identify with any individual either in the public or private sector who share similar goals with the core mandate of the Organization, hence, the Conferment of “Award of Philanthropy” on Hon. Muhammed Abba Isa.

She also Stressed that, the Conferment of Philanthropy Award on the Senior Special Assistance to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, was a painstaking efforts that involved wide Consultation across the country, particularly, the disability Community, Coupled with Hon. Abba’s track records of Philanthropic and humanitarian Service over the years.

In a Speech he delivered while Presenting the Award to the Senior Special Assistance, Bishop, John Paul John one of the Spiritual leaders of the Organization, said he Counts it a rare privilege and honour to be part of the historic Moment, adding that,he knew he was going to meet a Man of profound Goodwill and impeccable integrity, Considering the Personality of Dr.Mrs Christiana Titilayo Onyia the President of the New Dawn for Development Initiative.

He applauded Hon. Muhammed Abba for his humane and detribalised nature, selflessness and Philanthropic gestures which has alleviated the Sufferings of the Vulnerable group in the Society. while appealing to the Senior Special Assistance to accept the Award as a token of appreciation from the Organization,he also urged him to perceive of it as a Steppingstone Stone for better things to come his way in the nearest future.

In his acceptance Speech, the elated Hon. Muhammed Abba Isa, expressed his profound gratitude to the New Dawn for Development Initiative for the honour accorded him, adding that such kind gestures and Commendation would Strengthen and spur him to remain Committed and focused to the Core mandate for which the office was established.

 

He assured the New Dawn for Development Initiative of the readiness of the Office of the Senior Special Assistance to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities to partner with them, towards ensuring empowerment for the Vulnerable and persons with Special Needs in the Country.
