NATIONAL YOUTH CORP MEMBERS (F.C.T – ABUJA) APPRECIATES Dr. ESV. ABDULLAHI ALHASSAN AHMED, RECTOR FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC NASARAWA.


 

National Youth Service Corp members (NYSC) F.C.T chapter duly appreciate the Rector Federal Polytechnic Nassarawa Alh. Dr. ESV. Abdullahi AlHassan Ahmed, a free born of Nasarawa State, for the wonderful jobs he is doing as the Head of the prestigious institution which has trained countless great and achieved Nigerians.

His busy and strict work ethics in making sure to deliver on the huge task entrusted to him has continue to awe those around him and his students alike.

It is no longer news that Dr. Abdullahi posses an impeccable leadership qualities and managerial sagacity to weather the turf terrain of running an institution like that of Federal Polytechnic Nassarawa.

By just mentioning his name, the staffs of the institute has different positive stories to tell, all because of the rector’s history of learning through the job first as lecturer, and rising through the ranks to become the boss.
Thus, he carried people along.

Dr. Abdullahi is also a carefree giver that has used his personal resources to help both his staffs and the ever demanding students that throngs to his office for one form of help or the other.

The rector is a multi-talented administrator per excellence who always emphasis practical training and skills acquisition as tool for future development, and to this end monitors the departments in order to ensure they are impacting proper knowledge on the students in their various field of studying.

Dr. Abdullahi started his field career as a class teacher in prudent vocational institution Nasarawa, he also worked as an estate and maintaince officer in Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) after putting his very best in place. He was also opportuned to worked in metropolitan development board(IJMB) jos, from there he gained full employment in federal Polytechnic Nasarawa (FPN) as a lectural in the department of estate management and valuation in 1993, where he rose to the top position as the Rector with his hard work and commitment heavily put in place by him.

Since he took over the mantle of leadership in the institution, he had initiated many developmental programs, i.e providing new and rehabilitating the existing educational schemes. He also focused on improvement of staff welfare and condition of service.

Dr. Abdullahi is working tirelessly with the governing council collectively in actualizing the mandate of the institution and the welfarism of the students at large.

We therefore collectively send him good wishes as a great role model whose cup of knowledge is worth to taping from.

I will work hard for an opportunity to start my career as a lectural just like you to enable my contributions in structuring our educational system in Nigeria.
