The Peer to Peer Campaign Movement for Tinubu/Shettima Presidency has thrown its weight behind the Idris Gowon Paul Haruna, popularly called IJN, the APC House of Representatives candidate for Dekina/Biraidu federal constituency.
The body made its position known at Anyigba in Dekina Local Government Area while donating campaign materials to the candidate.
National coordinator for the National Movement for Good Leadership who is also the leader of the Peer to Peer initiative, Hon. Umar Abutu-Omar said the gesture was a demonstration of their total commitment to the course of all APC candidates in the coming election.
Hon. Umar emphasized the need for team work among the stakeholders, members of the party and indeed, the people, saying it was by so doing that victory will be guaranteed.
The National Coordinator also urged the candidates to do more in their campaigns and win the hearts of the masses, noting that the mammoth crowd at the APC campaigns was a testimony of its acceptance.
Hon. Umar Abutu-Omar promised continuous support to the APC candidates, adding that there was no reason to do otherwise.
In his response, the House of Representatives Candidate for Dekina/Bassa, Idris Gowon Paul Haruna expressed appreciation to the Peer to Peer campaign movement for identifying with him, stressing that the donation of campaign materials was a morale booster.
Idris Gowon Paul Haruna enjoined others to emulate the good example, alluding that the victory of the party was a collective responsibility, especially in the coming election.
Our reporter reports that the event also featured the endorsement of the party’s candidate for Kogi East Senatorial District, Jibrin Isah Echocho as well as the inauguration of the coordinators, including ward coordinators.
