NAKOSS NATIONAL PRESIDENT HAILS COMMISSIONER FOR YOUTH AND SPORTS DEVELOPMENT FOR THE FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH TO HIS CONSTITUENTS
The NAKOSS National President; Dr Jeremiah Elukpo has commended the 3- day Medical Outreach turned 4 days, which held from 27th – 30th December, 2024, at Ogene-Igah Community, Olamaboro Local Government of Kogi State.
This was made known to pressmen in Lokoja on Tuesday, shortly after his return from the exercise, as he hailed the collaboration with EMT Foundation.
He praised the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development; Hon. Monday Aridaojo Anyebe for the wonderful initiative and ensuring that his people benefit from free medical services within this period.
The NAKOSS National President who participated in the outreach, informed newsmen that the medical team brought to Olamaboro LGA were fully armed, as all emergency cases were adequately attended to. In addition, over 40 eye surgeries and other medical accessories were distributed as the Commissioner provided a sterile environment for these procedures.
The outreach which was initially scheduled for 3 days had to be extended because of the population trooping in from different communities within the Local Government, in order for them to benefit and more cases, especially emergencies, to be attended to.
Also, Hon. Monday Anyebe ensured that his people were adequately fed during the entire exercise
Dr JW Elukpo thanked the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for giving us Hon. Monday Aridaojo Anyebe, while praying for God to bless his Boss for touching the lives of his people and to grant him the grace to extend such hospitality within the State and beyond.
