NAKOSS Executives Inaugurated, As Youths and Sports Commissioner charges Them to work together with one indivisible voice
National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS) has Inuagurated new National Executive to man the affairs of the Association for the next one year.
Presenting certificate of return to the Executives in Lokoja, the commissioner for youth and sports Mr Monday Ayenbe charged them to work together with one indivisible voice.
Mr Monday advised them to continue to protect the interest of the students saying that the state government was ready to collaborate with them to realize their set goals and objectives.
The Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Youth and Sports Mr Oladele Niyi said NAKOSS should look inwardly while running the association by collaborating with others to make there administration felt urging them to work together with the executives maximize their potentials.
Mr Niyi urged them to initiate programmes and take advantage of the bursery and scholarship scheme to help their members.
The DG protocol Alhaji Sulaiman Ibrahim promised to use his office to support them and urged them to remain dedicated to their various positions.
In his acceptance speech the newly inaugurated president Jeremiah Elukpo Promised to work with everyone to carry the association to greater heights.
Mr Elukpo appreciated the the former Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the present administration of Alhaji Usman Ododo for prioritizing Education, the students and giving NAKOSS the opportunity and enabling environment to operate.
According to him he was ready to initiate programmes and innovations in various Campuses of higher institutions in the state and beyond to Carry every one along while working to regain the lost to glory of NAKOSS.
Mr Elukpo who explained that the Primary assignment is welferism of the students and appreciated the government for opening the portal for bursery and they are ready to give back to the society.
A one time Student Union president, the Care taker chairman of Kabba Bunu, Barr. Dare Michael who advised the new executives to remain resolute and be optimistic in the student struggle to take the association to greater heights urged members to work with them for enhanced performance.
