“My decision to recontest in 2027, born out of deep desire to serve” – Hon. Sanni Abdulraheem Egidi
The Lawmaker representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Sanni Abdulraheem Egidi, says his decision to recontest in 2027, is born out of the deep desire to serve.
The Lawmaker made the disclosure when he received the elders of Ganaja and its environs at his residence, described the meeting as truly humbling and rewarding moment.
According to the Lawmaker, “I am here to serve my people, and I will continue to do so faithfully. Every project done and every intervention delivered is not a favour but the people’s right, and it is my duty to ensure that those rights are met”.
“I remain deeply grateful for the visit and for the trust reposed in me by my constituents. Together, we will continue to work for the progress and development of our communities”.
During the meeting, the elders conveyed their heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, the, Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his timely and people-centered interventions in their communities.
They expressed deep gratitude to the Governor for providing a 500KVA transformer, a vital infrastructure now serving over eight communities, including Simbabi 1, Simbabi 2, Gida Bass, Odotito, and others along the Ajaokuta Road axis. This intervention has brought great relief to residents who had long endured power challenges.
The elders also commended Gov. Ododo for the ongoing construction of a Secondary School in Ganaja — a long-awaited dream, as the community has gone over three decades without one. They equally appreciated the Primary Healthcare Centres in Ganaja and Emiworo, describing them as life-changing projects that directly touch the people.
Beyond their words of appreciation, the elders reaffirmed their support for Gov. Ododo’s people-focused administration.
They also extended kind words and prayers to me for the modest efforts we have made together — including the provision of 25,000 liters of water overhead tanks and regulating systems in Ganaja and Ibaji Quarters, installation of streetlights, and the construction of the Primary School Road up to 3G.
