A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State, Alhaji Muktar Atimah has lambasted the African Democratic Party Governorship Flagbearer, Hon. Leke Abejide for what he described as misleading statement, says he is not fit to rule the people of the State.
Alhaji Atimah described the ADC Flagbearer as one who has no idea of Kogi State in demography, insisting that he is only on an adventure seeking attention.
According to a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, Alhaji Atimah said Hon. Leke should study the local government areas and towns in the state, be conversant with the locations before thinking about governance.
According to the Statement, “It is not surprising that a desperate and the losing candidate of ADC, a supposed elder Leke Abejide has been dishing out misleading information about Gov. Yahaya Bello and the APC candidate, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo that they are related”.
” To set the record straight, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello is from Agassa/Ahache Ward of Okene 1 State Constituency while Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo is from Uporo/Odenku Ward in Okene 2 State Constituency of Kogi State”.
” It is a fabrication of lie and attention seeking for the ADC candidate to make such a statement just to gain vote, definitely you’re intending to rule the state with lies”.
The APC Chieftain urged the ADC candidate to campaign on issues, on what he intends to do differently for the people and not to fan embers of discord with misleading information.
Alhaji Atimah described those the ADC candidate is parading as his men in the Central to first wash their hands clean, come to equity before helping him to attract vote”, described them as inconsequential.
” His anchor man from Okehi LGA, the former Chairman of Okehi LGA who happened to have benefitted from GYB led administration, was nominated to a Federal board position (College of Education Board Chairman Jos in Plateau State) has long been rejected by the local government he governed especially the critical stakeholders from the Eika district he comes from”.
” The last election your anchor man lost woefully from his polling unit, Ward and Local Government despite been the DG Campaign Organization Central”.
” Elder leke Abejide should not be deceived by him and others believing by in the non factual statement about Kogi Central and Kogi State at large”.
“Ododo Usman Ahmed is winning the next gubernatorial election despite your lies and blackmail by saying he’s related to GYB”.
“What matters is the good policy, the good ideas, the drive and the determination of Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo to make our dear state better than it has ever been. Without this qualities you cannot rule our dear State”, Muktar Atimah, APC Eika Stakeholder Kogi State said.
