INAUGURATES TINUBU/ODODO 2027 CONTINUITY SUPPORT GROUP
Activities marking the birthday celebration of the Honourable Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Chief Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris FCA in formally commenced with the **commissioning of six (6) solar-powered motorized boreholes** strategically located across communities in Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State
The solar-powered boreholes, executed to ensure sustainability and uninterrupted access to potable water, are aimed at improving public health, supporting household needs, and easing the daily burden on residents, particularly women and children. The commissioning was widely applauded by community leaders as a critical and long-lasting intervention that reflects responsive and people-centered leadership.
The water projects set the tone for what followed—a far-reaching Mega Empowerment Programme organized in celebration of the birthday of Chief Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris FCA and the **inauguration of the Tinubu/Ododo 2027 Continuity Support Group**, reaffirming his steadfast loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubuand **Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo FCA, the Executive Governor of Kogi State.

Massive Cash Empowerment Across Wards
A major highlight of the empowerment programme was the disbursement of ₦50,000 each to hundreds of beneficiaries across the six (6) wards in the southern axis of Yagba East Local Government Area**. The beneficiaries, carefully drawn from grassroots supporters, artisans, traders, youths, and vulnerable individuals, received the cash support to stimulate small-scale economic activities and improve household livelihoods.
Economic, Party, and Social Empowerment Interventions
In addition to the ward-based cash empowerment, Chief Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris FCA rolled out a broad spectrum of empowerment initiatives cutting across entrepreneurship, party strengthening, women inclusion, and humanitarian support:
₦250,000 each to 35 business entrepreneurs in Yagba East to boost small and medium-scale enterprises
₦15 million to APC Party Executives at the Ward and Local Government levels
₦1 million each to five (5) APC Women Leaders totaling ₦5 million in recognition of their commitment and leadership
One (1) bus donated to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Yagba East Chapter
Four (4) cars presented to loyal party stakeholders
Ten (10) motorcycles to enhance grassroots mobilization
Ten (10) deep freezers
Ten (10) generators
Ten (10) hair dryers
Ten (10) clippers
Ten (10) branding machines
Food and Welfare Distribution
As part of the humanitarian component of the celebration, the Commissioner also oversaw the distribution of essential relief items, including:
One thousand (1,000) pieces of wrappers
One thousand (1,000) bags of rice**, made up of 10kg and 5kg variants shared among women, party faithful, and vulnerable groups
