Prince Shauib Abubakar Audu, the Honourable Minister of Steel Development who took home the Renewed Hope message was well received by his people at the grassroots. The Eid-El Kabir celebration offered the Honourable Minister and his people the opportunity to interface once again, one on one.

The various engagements were deep, thorough and factual as issues were raised and discussed. With the Honourable Minister’s brief about the President Tinubu’s led government, many were educated on the progress made so far and were encouraged that the current challenges confronting the nation will soon pass by.

Also, the Honourable Minister, Prince Shauib updated his people about his primary assignment given to him at the federal level. With the update, there is assurance that the revival of the steel industry is in progress. Particularly, the revival of the Ajaokuta Steel Company is a priority for the Renewed Hope government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

At the stakeholders meeting, The ARISE IGALA Team presented to Prince Shauib Abubakar Audu ARISE IGALA Humanitarian Award. The presentation was to be made at the 12th edition of the annual ARISE IGALA Leadership Awards & Lectures which took place at the Conference Hall of Nicon Luxury, Abuja on Saturday, May 31, 2025 but the Honourable Minister couldn’t make it due to some other vital activities. The honour is to encourage the Honourable Minister to keep doing more in the area of Humanitarian Services even as he is deeply involved in his primary task at the federal level.

On behalf of the organizers of the award, senior lawyer, John Adele, SAN presented the award to the Honourable Minister. It was a great moment of honour in front of his people at the grassroots.
