The House of Assembly Member, Representing Omala State Constituency, Hon. Umar Yahaya, has sent a message of Congratulations to Rt. Hon. Aliu Umar Yusuf aka Assignment on his emergence as the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly.
Hon. Umar in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja described the new Speaker as a well grounded administrator with the capacity to lead the 8th Kogi State House of Assembly.
While he maintained that the Speaker from his antecedents, has made success in his private and public life, expressed optimism that the Speaker has the magic wand to make the 8th Kogi State House of Assembly vibrant and the envy in the country.
Hon. Umar expressed optimism that he has implicit confidence in the new Speaker’s ability to pilot the affairs of the 8th House of Assembly in ensuring that the State experience good governance and the much desired dividends of democracy.
Hon. Umar congratulated Rt. Hon. Aliu Umar Yusuf urged him to bring his wealth of experience to bear in the managing of the affairs of the Assembly as well as in ensuring a cordial working relationship exists between the other arms of government.
While the Omala State Constituency lawmaker called on the people of of the State to rally round the new Speaker by giving him the moral and needed support that would enable him deliver on his task, assuring that under the Speaker’s leadership, a new dawn of development would be witnessed in the State.
” Rt. Hon. Umar is capable, has capacity and is a hardworking personality. I’m confidence that he will make the people of Kogi State proud in the discharge of his duties. All that he needs from all of us is our prayers and support. I’m absolutely confident that he will not betray the confidence reposed on him because we the lawmakers have all resolved to support and work with him to succeed”.
Hon. Umar congratulated the new Speaker, prayed that Almighty Allah will grant him the wisdom, knowledge, understanding and good health as he pilots the affairs of the Assembly.
The Omala Lawmaker maintained that the state looks unto the 8th assembly under the leadership to legislate on issues that will promote good governance and all round development of the State, promised all that is need from him for the Speaker to make success in his Leadership of the 8th State Assembly.
