Meimunat Ogirima, Congratulates Gov. Bello, Ododo, Christians,Preaches Love,Peace, Unity,Giving @ Christmas.
As Christians globally celebrate yet another Christmas which is the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ[Emmanuel-God With Us], the savior of the world, the state coordinator of project financial management unit in the office of kogi State Account General, Hajiya Meimunat Ogirima Abiodun has felicitated with the state executive governor, Alh Yahaya Bello,the governor elect, Alh. Ahmed Ododo Usman Ododo, Christians and the generality of the people for marking this year’s feast under a rancour free environment.
Meimunat Ogirima in her Christmas felicitation massage which was made available to media houses in Lokoja, described the out going year has results oriented judging from the unity, peace , human and infrastructural development the state and its citizens have seen during the period under reviewed.
She admonished the celebrants and residents in the spirit of the season to reflect deeply from the birth of Jesus Christ which symbolises gift to the world, love, humility, sacrifice, and know the overriding essence of his coming to world which approved mercy and grace to mankind by God almighty.
Meimunat Ogirima also enjoined adherents of Jesus Christ to meditate and practice His principles and commands which hinged on love, forgiveness giving, peace, and rescuing mankind from the shackle of curses and sins to always permeate them.
She advised the people not to see the Christmas feast as an occasion of jamboree or merry making only , similarly implored them to give their unfettered support to enable government deliver on its policies and programmes especially the incoming administration of Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo [Governor Elect] to allow him consolidate and continue on the monumental achievements already sited by Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration about the last eight years.
”As we all marks this year’s Christmas feast , Meimunat Ogirima advised the citizens to promote good neighborliness, peace, unity in diversity and sustain their prayers for those in positions of authority to them deliver on their task by jump starting the socio-economic and infrastructural development of the state”, She stressed.
