Marriage Crisis: Olorunleke, wife set for negotiation table as court strikes out divorce case

Hope is not lost yet about the reconciliation between Super Eagles’ goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke and his wife, Tosin as they set for amicable negotiation after the State High Court in Lokoja struck out their divorce case.

Ojo, who had earlier filed for divorce, withdrew his petition against his wife a few days before the official hearing date that was fixed for 21st October, 2025.

In his initial petition, the former Enyimba FC goalkeeper admitted to committing adultery but accused his wife of not being patient with him during the crisis that rocked their nine-year old marriage.

On her part, Tosin pleaded with the court not to dissolve their union for the sake of their children, stating that she does not want them to grow up in a broken home.

She also accused her husband of disrespecting their marriage by allowing his alleged mistress, Precious Daniel, flaunt their relationship openly on social media spaces.

Tosin further maintained that Ojo never promised her a polygamous marriage.

Justice Ada, presiding over the matter, struck out the case on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, paving the way for the couple to settle their differences privately.

With the case now out of court, questions remain: Will Ojo end his affair with Precious Daniel and reconcile with his family, or will Tosin accept to share her husband in a polygamous arrangement?

For now, all eyes are on the couple as they return to the negotiation table.
