A Community Leader at Ajaka in Igalamela/ Odolu local government Mallam Yakubu Ojonimi Opaluwa crowned Ogohi Ajaka by Attah Igala his majesty Alaji Mathew Opaluwa Ogwuche the second.

 

 

 

The ceremony which attracted dignitaries from across the country saw the presence of the Senator Representing Kogi East Senatorial District , Senator Jibrin Isa Echocho as well as other prominent politicians.

Also on hand to grace the event, include the son of the Ogohi Ajaka Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ojonimi Ajaka who is also the the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the ruling All progressives Congress (APC).

At the ceremony, the Attah Igala who is also the President of Kogi State Council of Chiefs Alaji Mathew Opaluwa Ogwuche the second admonished the Ogohi Ajaka to be team player as well as join hands with his people to ensure peace and tranquility

He promised to work in close collaboration with other members of Igalamela/Odolu traditional council.

In his remarks, the Ogohi Ajaka chief Yakubu Ojonimi Opaluwa expressed gratitude to the Attah Igala for finding him worthy for the exalted position.

The Igala Monarch appealed to his subjects to obey the laws of the Land and always be willing to be their brothers keeper.

The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the ruling APC Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ojonimi in a remark, described the honour as well deserved describing the Ogohi Ajaka as a leader who is passionate about the development of his area.

The Ettemahi Igalamela Chief Abel Etu who is the Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu local Government Area Traditional council led some other Traditional Rulers in the area to the ceremony.
