The planned “Made in Kogi Trade Fair 2021” event is shaping up nicely, as a very important step to it’s success has just been set in stone.
This was evident today at the office of the Permanent Secretary, where representatives from various MDAs were in attendance for the latest briefing.
Speaking, the DG, Kogi Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines & Agriculture (KOCCIMA): Samuel Enejoh thanked the Perm Sec & stated that FIVE committee(s) vital to the execution of the trade fair has just been formed.
These are:
1. Finance, Secretariat, Monitoring & Evaluation
2. Publicity & Mobilization
3. Works, Venues & Utilities
4. Security, Protocol & Logistics
5. Medical & Welfare
This committee(s) will oversee the project & ensure its success…plus MDAs that are important to each of these committee(s) listed, will be added accordingly, to enable them function properly.
Each committee will also have a Chairman & Secretary to make sure all protocols are duly noted & observed.
It is worthy of note that even though a specific date for the Trade Fair isn’t fixed yet, there is a projected time frame of late October/Early November 2021.
The Permanent Secretary & Director, Admin & Finance thanked the team & adjourned the meeting to enable representatives that were absent to meet up with nominations the next time they meet.
