Lokoja LG Chair Receives Auditor-General for Local Government In His Office, Extolled his Simple Disposition

The Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area Comrade Abdullahi Adamu this afternoon receives on a working visit the Kogi State Local Government Auditor General, Yakubu Adabenege in his office.

The Council Chairman extolled the simple and friendly disposition of Hon. Yakubu Adabenege as a lifestyle worthy of emulation. He recalled their long standing relationship from their time as Personal Assistants, noting that Hon. Fancy has continued to typify patience, hard work and resourcefulness.
Comrade Adamu used the opportunity to thank Kogi State Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo his huge investment in the area of security and the concerted effort to rid Lokoja Local Government and other Local Governments facing the challenges of insecurity.

In his remarks, Hon. Adabenege commends the Chairman and his Local Government Management led by the DLG Mallam Musa Omuwa and the treasurer, Mrs. Ayodele Peace not only for the unity but for prioritizing financial responsibility, accountability and efficient fund utilization.

He expressed his satisfaction with the day to day running of Lokoja Local Government Area under the leadership of Comrade Abdullahi Adamu. He urged the local government team to continue to work together as a team for the benefit of the local government and the state.
