Lokoja Indigenous Publishers/ Bloggers Pay Homage To Maigari Of Lokoja
The Lokoja Indeginous Publishers/Bloggers (LIPB), on Tuesday, visited the Maigari of Lokoja, HRH Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi.
The LIPB’ visit to the foremost palace of the Maigari was to felicitate with him on his appointment as the new Maigari of Lokoja.
The Maigari, in his remarks of appreciation, noted that the media plays a significant role in peacebuilding; even as he prayed that God in His Infinite mercy and wisdom will continue to guide and strengthen the LIPB leadership.
The Traditional Ruler who was highly elated by the visit, thanked the members of the LIPB leadership and their members for their contribution to him coronation.
He said the media practitioners are pillars of peacebuilding in any society.
The royal father called on the LIPB to continue giving support to the current administration and the good people of the State.
In a related development, the traditional ruler promised to ensure that peace and harmony continue to exist in his Chiefdom.
He said his present position as Maigari of Lokoja, he is closer to the people and has better ideas for solving community crises, which will result in continuous peace and unity in Lokoja local government area.
