In his remarks, the Director-General of the Campaign Council, Hon. Barr. Ehimoni Jagun Ibiyemi, expressed confidence in the party’s prospects and commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his developmental strides across the state.
Ibiyemi called on members to work collectively, with unity, effective coordination and sustained mobilisation, and to encourage their families, friends and neighbours to participate actively in the electoral process.
Also speaking, former Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly and APC leader in Lokoja LGA, Rt. Hon. Umar Alfa Imam, thanked members for their loyalty and dedication, urging them to set aside differences and work together for the party’s success at the polls.
Other party leaders who spoke called on supporters to come out en masse on Saturday, October 17, to vote for all APC candidates, expressing confidence in the party’s flagbearers.
A party chieftain disclosed that the grand finale of the APC campaign in Lokoja Local Government Area will hold on Tuesday this week, as preparations intensify for the election.
