Let’s talk about Governor Ododo Ahmed Usman’s visionary leadership demonstrated in less than 100 days in office.
–His giant strides on the sand of time.that is the high points of his administration,so far.

Recall that the governor of Kogi state,Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman is riding on the crest of consolidation and continuity mantra, since his inauguration on the 27th, January,2023.
Since that date,he has been able to justify the confidence reposed in him by the good people of Kogi State, who voted for him overwhelmely at the polls.
He immediately hit the ground running after he quickly assembled his widely experienced and competent cabinet members.
Within the first one month in office,
he embarked on the spot tour of ongoing legacy projects he inherited from the immediate past governor of Kogi State,Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.
Some of these projects include but not limited to the ongoing projects in the new State University,Kabba, and the construction of Obangede-Okaito and Ihima roads.
He also visited the gigantic Rice Mill, located in the Kogi West senatorial district,as part of the capital projects that would attract his attention going forward.
The nagging issue of insecurity that cropped up in the early days of his administration was quickly nipped on the bud.
Just yesterday,no fewer than 40 passengers,who were kidnapped in a neighbouring state, but brought to Kogi State by criminal elements were promptly rescued by gallant security agencies in the state.
This is a clear demonstration that the security conscious Governor has zero tolerance for criminal elements like Kidnappers, bandits,,ritualists, Boko Haram insurgents and murderous Fulani herdsmen, who are trying to open cells in the state.
The message is very clear. No hiding place for criminals in Kogi State under the watch of Alhaji Usman Ododo.
On the welfare of the civil servants, teachers and pensioners, the humane governor had already taken positive steps to prioritize the welfare of the people.
He has already started the second phase of the equitable distribution of palliatives to the less privileged and the poorest of the poor segments of the state.
It is also worthy of note that the action governor has initiated deliberate and concrete efforts to diversify the economy of the state to generate more revenue to run the affairs of the state.
In this regard,he had commissioned a team of tourists to undertake a statewide tour of all the tourism sites in the state,with a view to harnessing that money spinning sector in the years ahead.
On the issues of environment and sanitation challenge in the state, the environment friendly governor gave a marching order to the Ministry of Environment and Ecology to undertake a scientific approach in giving lokoja and it’s environs a cleaner architecture, particularly as we approach the raining season that may birth the dreaded cases of flooding in flood-prone areas of the state.
The governor have also demonstrated his unwavering commitment to embrace fiscal accountability and transparency in managing the economy of the state, as he started the full disclosure of allocations that are accruing to the state from the federation account on a monthly basis.
On the whole,Governor Ododo has demonstrated his capacity ,competence and the highest integrity to run the affairs of the state on the path of economic growth and prosperity.
Given the forgoing,it is safe to conclude that better days are ahead for Kogites under the administration of the results oriented governor,Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman.
There is a general saying that the morning shows the day.
The same truism speaks to governor Ododo.who is presently on the right track as he navigate the governance of our dear Kogi state, cruising into his first 100, days in office.
