A support organisation of Youths and Students who brought themselves together under the auspices of Leke/Omede Confluence Youths and Students (LOCY&S) has announced their inauguration.
The group has their working and existing structure from the State to polling unit level. The mandate of the group is too mobilize youths and students with Permanent Voters Card and make sure they deliver their votes massively for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) gubernatorial candidate, Elder Leke Abejide, and his running mate, Dr. Idris Omede on 11th of November.
The Leke/Omede ticket remains the best combination to be in the helm of affairs of Kogi State from January 27, 2024 he added.
“Looking at their antecedents and success in their respective careers, Leke/Omede remains the perfect match to lead Kogi State to an enviable height from Jan. 27, 2024”.
The Convener, Julius O. Abel-Ontop made the announcement in a statement to journalists in Lokoja.
As for the schedule of when and how the program will hold, he said the inauguration will hold in Lokoja, and due management of certain logistics, the exact venue and time will be communicated to the members of the group at the appropriate time.
The inauguration program will also come along with the unveiling of the organisation’s Patron and Guardian.
He however encouraged Kogi State masses to go and take part in the ongoing distribution of Permanent Voters Card and make sure they vote the ADC candidate in the gubernatorial election.
“Be encouraged beyond the happenings of today, go all out, obtain your PVC and ensure to vote for the ADC candidate in the coming governorship election”.
