Desmond Tochukwu Orisewezie paid a courtesy visit to Chief Olusegun Obansanjo(GCFR) to share thoughts on International Law and how Africa can witness relative peace, progress and prosperity.
Desmond also congratulated President Obasanjo on his appointment by the African Union to lead the Union’s special intervention in the Horn of Africa.
The high point of the visit was the presentation of a book which Desmond co-edited titled “LAW AND SOCIETY IN NIGERIA” to His Excellency.
Appreciating His Excellency for accepting his visitation, Desmond Orisewezie, in his speech, described the former president as an icon of greatness who provides dependable leadership for Africans, particularly the Youths.
The visit is to appreciate the supportive personality of our father, Chief Olusegun Obansanjo. He has been a beacon of hope to Nigerian youths locally and internationally, as he constantly displays top notch leadership qualities. As such, I am sure more productive collaborations would commence so we can better impact on Youths and our communities”, he further reiterated.
Commenting on the courtesy visit His Excellency Chief Olusegun Obansanjo seized the moment to admonish Nigerian youths to understand the essence of wisely selecting their desired educational choices and life goals.
Riding on the backdrop of his earlier statement the Chief Olusegun Obansanjo expressed satisfaction with what he referred to as the Zeal exhibited by Desmond Tobech Orisewezie.
The meeting between the duo lasted for 20mins.
