Lawmaker Praises RMAFC for Listing Kogi As Oil Producing State.

Omala in Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Collins Musa has commended the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission for enlisting Kogi as an oil producing state.

Prince Collins Musa who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Public Accounts gave the commendation during a sensitization visit to the state.

He noted that the Federal Government has once again demonstrated fairness and justice, saying Kogi state will now have more funds for development programmes.

Prince Musa praised the Federal Commissionioner Mr Samuel Maagbe for the visit and the interractive sensitisation session which according to him, also shows his love for Kogi state.

The lawmaker assured that the state Assembly will make use of the opportunity to enhance all round development and praised Governor Yahaya Bello for his proactive measures in increasing the internal revenue indices of the State.

Prince Musa maintained that the measure was largely due to the security enjoyed in the state, adding that Kogi remains an emerging economic viable State, capable of making the nation proud economically and otherwise as it soon become the fastest growing economy in Nigeria.

Earlier, the Federal commissioner in the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Mr Samuel Maagbe Adaa said nation wide tour was intended to sensitize stakeholders on the need and modalities for the review of the existing Revenue allocation formular for the good of States and Local Government areas across the country.
