I, Shaba Ibrahim on behalf of myself and my family, wish to use this opportunity to thank everyone that mourned with me during the passing away of my mother, Hajiya Bilkisu Suleiman; which occurred on Saturday, July 10th 2021.
Your Excellency, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, former Executive Governor of Kogi State; Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim, former Kogi guber aspirant and my very good friend; Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Bello, former Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly; Rt. Hon. Alfa Imam, Former Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly; Hon. Yabagi Bologi, former Kogi Commissioner for Commerce and Industry and former Lokoja Local Government Chairman; Mr Isah Abdulkarim, Kogi Local Government chairman; Mr Mohammed Dan Asabe, Lokoja Local Government chairman; delegates from the Maigari of Lokoja led by Alhaji Bala Seriki Zango (District Head of Ward B); Okoro of Girinya; party leaders and many other dignitaries who did not only call but also honoured me and my family with their presence within such short notice of the burial arrangement, during the passing away and consequent burial of my mother, I thank you all.
While here on Earth, mama lived an exemplary life of sacrifice. Indeed, death leaves behind a pain and vacuum nobody affected as either friend or family of a deceased, can actually heal from. Mama’s love shall forever remain in our hearts even as her legacies will forever live on. We pray Allah to make Al-jannah Firdaus her final abode.
To friends and supporters both near and far, I thank you all for your outpouring of love. Myself and my family are indeed overwhelmed by your love and words of comfort. May Allah SWT reward you all abundantly.
We wish you all journey mercy as you return back to your various destinations.
