Kwara NIPR Chairman Makes Aviation College White Paper C’ttee List

The Chairman, Kwara State chapter of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Dr. Saudat Abdulbaqi has been selected to serve as member of the 8-man White Paper Committee on International Aviation College (IAC), Ilorin.

Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq approved her selection along with others to peruse the report of the Visitation Panel to the College.

The committee is chaired by Professor Nasir AbdulSalam of the University of Ilorin. Other members are Dr. Olubunmi Stephen Oguntoye; Professor Rebecca Wusa Ndama; Dr. Falilat Abdullah; Professor Shehu Raheem Adaramaja; Pastor Olagunju Felix; and Mrs Foluke Bukola David (Secretary).

The committee would, among other terms of reference, study the report, point up focal issues, and draw up actionable plans on each of the recommendations of the Visitation Panel in a way that would help the government to tackle the issues in the institution.

Rafiu Ajakaye, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, pointed out in his statement that the white paper committee is to submit its report to the government within three weeks of its inaugural meeting.

Her selection has been described as a worthwhile one and a boost to NIPR as a professional body that gives high premium to community service.

It would be recalled she served recently as member of the State Technical Committee on COVID-19 and did creditably well, particularly in the distribution of palliatives to different categories of people across the nooks and crannies of the state.
