
KSVS RESCUE ANOTHER ONE ABDUCTEE FROM KIDNAPPERS

The men of the Kogi State Vigilante Service have again rescued one abductee from Kidnappers.
According to a statement signed by Idris S. Idris
Public Relations Officer of the Command says:
“On 24th of October, 2025 about 0554hrs inside Oguda forest, Okene Local Government Area, One Ibrahim SHITU, who was earlier kidnapped on 22nd October, 2025 behind an old factory, Okpella in Edo State was rescued by kogi state vigilante personnel acting as hunters, during an under cover Operation, directed by the Comptroller General to comb bushes/forest around Oguda farming community in Okene LGA .
Acting on intelligence, the Vigilantes stormed the Kidnappers’ site inside the forest, whereupon the outlaws, four (4) in number, were engaged in fierce gun battle thereby forcing them to abandon IBRAHIM, while escaping with various gun shot wounds.
The victim, whose abductors had earlier demanded for fifty million naira (#50,000,000) ransom from the family, thus regained freedom and subsequently reunited with his relatives.
Subsequently, KSVS personnel have commenced a man-hunt for the kidnappers, who were armed with AK-47 and cutlasses.
The Controller-General Kogi State Vigilante Service Alh. Ibrahim Omeiza Sani DIS (Rtd) fsi+, minmm, appreciated his Men for their gallantry and thank His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo for his encouragement and support towards the service.
The CG further advised members of the public to assist security agencies with actionable intelligence in a bid to ensure a peaceful and secured environment in Kogi State.
