
KPSF Backs Tinubu, Pledges 100% Votes in Kogi

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Kogi state APC Progressive Stakeholders Forum KPSF has endorsed president Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his second term bid.
The Forum gave the verdict on Wednesday in her inaugural meeting held in Lokoja.
The motion which was moved by Senator Sunday Karimi, representing kogi west and was seconded by the former Director General of National Productivity Center, Dr. Kashim Akor and unanimously affirmed by the members.
The forum chairman, Captain Idris Wada, former Governor of kogi state disclosed that the essence of the forum is to ensure peace and unity and to block any probable loophole in order to galvanize massive votes for the APC and President Tinubu.
He said the forum is a strategic platform of the APC in kogi state aimed at the resolution of concerns by members that will impinge on the success of the party and it’s flag bearers in the forthcoming elections.
The former Governor noted that the forum which is a convergence of eminent personalities across the 21 LGAs of the state is to harvest cross fertilisation of ideas towards enhancing the quantum of votes for the president from the state.
He urged all party members to avail themselves for the ongoing membership electronic registration across wards, local Government and state government levels, stressing that with Unity among members kogi is on the march to deliver 100% votes for president Tinubu.
In a remark, the senator representing Kogi West , Sunday Karimi, noted that the forum is all about inclusivity and abhors antagonism, adding that the forum is set out to block every noticeable concern that will affect maximum votes for the APC.
The senator explained that the forum will go at length to receive and process ideas that brightens the pledged 100% votes and the ultimate triumph of all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
He added that the forum will work assiduously for the state to speak with one voice for the success of the party.
He informed that the need to queue behind president Tinubu for his reelection is borne out of his pragmatic and proactive policies that has restored confidence of the people.
He reminded that the country was at the cross roads when President Tinubu assumed office in 2023 , but , his bold steps have stabilized the economy, enhance security and promote social cohesion
He said the subsidy removal, introduction of Nigeria Education Fund (Nelfund,) floating of the Naira and many other social interventions have begun to manifest.
” We are here to enhance unity among our members. This forum is far from being antagonistic. We are to bring all members under one roof and work as one entity for the progress of APC and overwhelming win for our Candidate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
” We have no hidden agenda. However, it is certain that where their is collection of people, there would be issues and complaints. We urge members to bring their Complaints and issues to the Secretariat, and we assure them of quick resolution.”
In his contribution, the Vice Chairman of the forum, Alhaji Suleiman Baba Ali enjoined members to close ranks and to bring concerns of members to the platform for possible solution, saying, there is no doubt, that there are concerns and complaints , but , the forum is determined to resolve them for the benefit of the party.
He informed that those that are ought to be in attendance were communicated, adding that , some members may be absent due to their tight schedule.
In their separate speeches, AIG Abutu Yaro Rtd, and Chief Erukutu enjoined members to woo electorates to present themselves for the ongoing APC electronic members registration, stressing that the only way for the president to win convincingly for them to register as members of the party.
They commended President Tinubu for his sacrifices for the country and party members who despite their tight schedule were able to attend the Inaugural meeting.
