The Chairman of the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC), Hon. Mamman Nda Eri has commiserated with the management of the State Broadcasting Corporation, the State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), and the immediate family of Late Mrs. Lucy Damian, whose death occurred on Tuesday.
Hon. Eri who described the the ace broadcaster as hardworking and resilient said the deceased covered some of the Commission’s programmes during the last local government election in the state Inspite of her health challenges.
He said it is unfortunate that death took her at a time when she would have contributed even more to the state information sector.
He prayed that God would grant her immediate family and the state media group the fortitude to bear the great loss.
He also prayed that God would take care of the children the Late Damian left behind.
