As Kogi State celebrate its 30th anniversary, the State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hajiya Fatima Kabir Buba has commended Governor Yayaha Bello for women inclusion in politics and empowerment.
The commissioner who joined millions of Kogite in celebrating the State anniversary stressed that the ministry of women affairs under the government of the current administration had done great in repositioning women in politics.
According to her, women in the state had struggled for attention especially in the political circle, adding that the 30% of women inclusion in political office under this current administration has been surpassed.
Hajiya Buba further thanked the most gender sensitive governor of our time, His Excellency Yahaya Bello for running an all inclusive government that made him recognised and accepted in the state and the country at large.
While assuring the governor of the support of women in the state towards the match to PYB ambition in 2023, she called in women in the state to remain resolute in their belief in the Governor Bello.
She congratulate all kogite and prayed that her citizen would have more and greater celebration in the future.
