Kogi Youth Rally: Gov. Ododo Endorses Tinubu for Re-election, Pledges Youth Support
Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has thrown his weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid, citing the President’s bold leadership and vision for Nigeria.
Speaking at a youth endorsement rally, Ododo praised Tinubu’s achievements, including a stabilising Naira and improved economic indicators.
He described the President as a “visionary leader” who has taken “hard decisions to save Nigeria from total economic collapse”.
The Governor also lauded Tinubu’s commitment to empowering youths, women, and the less privileged, highlighting the President’s wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s, philanthropic work through the Renewed Hope Initiative.
Ododo urged Kogi youths to stay united and focused on the future, warning against division and selfish interests.
He pledged to continue driving progress in Kogi State, citing achievements in agriculture, healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
The rally was marked by enthusiasm and energy, with attendees chanting “On your mandate, Bola! On your mandate, we shall stand!” The Governor’s speech was met with applause and cheers, as he rallied support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The endorsement comes as Nigeria gears up for the 2027 presidential election. With Ododo’s support, Tinubu’s re-election bid gains momentum.
