The Kogi State Chapter of YBN has described Thompson Alfa, its former State Chairman, as a fraudster who got the hint that YBN is about to set up a probe panel to x-ray his financial misdemeanor and fraudulent dealings, made him to hurriedly say he has defected to the PDP.
The YBN say they are not surprised at Thompson’s new abode, described the PDP as a party associated with fraudsters, reasons why he finds the Party a safe haven to run to.
The YBN in a statement signed by Mathew Adavize Samuel, Director of Media and Publicity, reacting to the alleged defection of Thompson to PDP, said it is unfortunate that a man who could not manage a 32 man Executives would alleged that he decamped with 20000 Ward Coordinators.
The YBN in the Statement explained that no amount of blackmail would stop the probe of Thompson, described his purported decamping as a window of opportunity to hurriedly escape justice claiming he decamped from APC.
The YBN said Thompson Alfa was an erstwhile former Kogi State YBN Chairman, but was three months ago suspended as a result of financial misappropriation, several gross misconduct and replaced by Hon. Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim.
The YBN therefore described Thompson’s purported defection as good riddance to bad rubbish, disclosed that his cunning defection, is to seek cheap attention and create a distraction from his alleged pilfering of resources.
Ordinarily, YBN said it would have kept mute on the senseless defection story, but has choosing to react so as to set the record straight, expressed happiness that a sheep in wolves clothing has joined the party of fraudsters and wants to bring to disrepute the good name of YBN.
The YBN therefore wish to restate it commitment to probing the fraudulent activities of Thompson for him to account for his stewardship, with an assurance that it will opt for maximum legal window at the end of the probe.
While pointing out the the sack of Thompson over gross financial misappropriation from the YBN and his claim to have joined the PDP is a manifestation of where he belongs, urged the general public to note with emphasis that he (Thompson Alfa) decamped to PDP as a former Chairman of YBN and suspended three months ago.
The YBN notes that the sack of Thompson was to equally maintain, protect and guide the image of YBN from person’s with questionable character.
The YBN called on it members, the general public to disregard the purported defection by Thompson from APC to PDP with 20000 members as another lie of a double faced man who can not run away from his vomit.
