Women of Lokoja, under the aegis of Market Women Association have thrown there weight behind the aspiration of Hon Sunday Karimi, the All Progressives Congress Flagbearer for Kogi West Senatorial District.
The women gave the assurances when the APC Flagbearer met with them in Lokoja, says the available at their disposal point to the fact that Hon. Karimi served the interest of women, particularly market women when he served in the House of Representatives.
Speaking to the Market Women in Lokoja, Hon. Karimi says his aspiration is revolve around women and Youths empowerment.
The leading Senatorial hopeful promised to empower women with soft loans and other intervention using legislative representation.
He described the place of women in the society as vital, pointing out that no nation makes progress without the support and empowerment of women, assured that once elected, they occupy a veritable place in his representation.
The leadership of the Women Association, promised to support his aspiration, pointing out that his antecedents speaks volumes.
Hon. Karimi was accompanied by the APC Flagbearer for Lokoja Kogi Federal Constituency, Hon. Suleiman Danladi Aguye.
