Kogi Water Resources Commissioner Extends Warm Christmas Greetings, Calls for Unity and Prayers

LOKOJA — The Kogi State Commissioner for Water Resources, Engr. Yahaya MD Farouk, FNICE, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Christians across the state and all Nigerians as they celebrate the 2024 Christmas festival.

 

In his Christmas message, Engr. Farouk emphasized the importance of injecting the healing and unifying serum of love for one’s neighbour* into the consciousness of Nigerians this season. He specifically congratulated Christians, particularly those from Lokoja Local Government Area, and urged all Nigerians to use the occasion to offer special prayers for leaders at all levels, especially Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo.

The Commissioner highlighted the lessons from the life and times of Jesus Christ, encouraging believers to reflect on the core tenets of Christianity—perseverance, faithfulness, determination, and peace.
He praised Christians for witnessing another Christmas celebration and prayed that God grants the people good health and prosperity in the New Year.

The Commissioner assured that with the framework for the water sector put in place by the administration, assured of constant supply of water to residents of the metropolis all through the Yuletide.

Engr. Farouk’s message underscores the spirit of unity, love, and reflection that defines the Christmas season, calling on all to embody these values for a harmonious and prosperous Nigeria.
