The National President of the National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), Comrade Simon Adeola Sunday, has commended DAM Foundation and its founder, Dr. Abdullahi Mustapha, for awarding full-time scholarships to deserving students of Kogi State origin across tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
Speaking to newsmen in Abuja on Saturday, Comrade Adeola described the initiative as a strategic and enduring investment in human capital development, as well as a compelling demonstration of visionary leadership, social responsibility, and purposeful philanthropy.
According to him, the gesture has opened life-changing educational opportunities for indigent and meritorious students who might otherwise have been constrained by financial hardship. He noted that the intervention further reaffirms Dr. Mustapha’s unwavering commitment to the intellectual, social, and economic transformation of Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
“This laudable gesture has restored hope to many young people and families whose academic aspirations were under threat due to financial limitations. It stands as a shining model of service to humanity and a clarion call to other well-meaning citizens and corporate bodies to join hands in nation-building through education and empowerment,” Comrade Adeola stated.
The leadership and entire membership of NAKOSS, therefore, salute Dr. Mustapha’s exemplary service and distinguished record of impact. The association also prayed that Almighty God endows him with sustained strength, wisdom, and greater capacity to expand this noble legacy of educational support and social development.
