Kogi State Unveils Service Charter For Selected MDA’s.
The Kogi State Government has officially launched the Service Charter for selected Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), aiming to promote transparency and accountability in public service delivery.
The charter outlines standards of service, timelines, and expectations for citizens, enabling them to hold government agencies accountable.
The initiative is a result of collaboration between the government and non-state actors, including the Initiative for Grassroot Advancement in Nigeria (INGRA).
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Hamza Aliyu, Executive Director of INGRA, praised Governor Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo for his support of Open Governance Partnership.
Ambassador Idris Muraina Ozovehe, Co-Chairman of Kogi State Open Government Partnership, described the charter as a “public pledge” to deliver excellent services.
The event was attended by representatives from various MDAs, who pledged to ensure accountability and quality service delivery to citizens.
The Kogi State Head of Service officially unveiled the Service Charter, marking a significant milestone in the state’s governance journey.
