This is to inform the general public that Kogi State Polytechnic has established the School of Agricultural Technology, Itakpe with programmes as follows:
i Agricultural Technology i. | Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Technology ii, | Animal Health and Production Technology
iv. Horticultural Technology
1 AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY
a. Duration of the Programme The programme will run for two years (Four Semesters)
b. Status of the Certificate
The Certificate is the same with all National Diploma Certificates issued by the National Board of Technical Education, NBTE and can be used for admission into 200 Level (Direct Entry) of any university and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Agricultural
Technology, Crop Production, Agric Economics and Extension, Animal Production, Horticulture and Landscape Technology, Pest Management Technology, Forestry,
Irrigation, etc.
c. Entry Requirement
Five (5) SSCE credit passes must include English Language, Mathematics, Agricultural Science and any two (2) subjects from Economics, Geography and Chemistry.
