The forum of Aspirants for the Chairmanship position of Kogi State chapter of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), yesterday met in Anyigba, Dekina LGA of Kogi State to brainstorm and align themselves with the position of members and relevant stakeholders of the Council from Kogi East Senatorial Zone whose turn it is to produce the next State Chairman of the body.
In a communique released by the forum, the aspirants say they won’t entertain any form of interference as regards the traditional NYCN zoning arrangement that has since taken root within the body in the State.
The body made it abundantly clear of their resolve to abide by the final resolution of “Kogi East Critical Stakeholders” saying it is the turn of Kogi East and nothing else short of that will be acceptable to all the aspirants.
Aspirants who were present and collectively took the position and vowed to stand by it come what may are:

3. Comr. Abdullahi A.A (Smile)
4. Benjamin Jeremiah
5. Usman Ogohi Samuel
6. Abubakar Farouq
The Aspirants called on State Government, Stakeholders and relevant agencies to religiously follow the lay down zoning arrangement for the sake of peace and tranquility the Youthful and Useful administration of Governor Yahaya Bello has strived to birth in the Confluence State.
